Here at MTN Wellness we love serving the community. We do this by hosting group rides, runs, hikes and workouts; we also partner with area gyms and outdoor spaces to bring injury prevention and treatment clinics to keep you moving and enjoying these mountains!
This month we have a focus on the ladies!
Here is what’s on tap for May.
Sunday mornings 7:30am Ladies Road Rides (Black Mountain)
It is officially spring and it's time to get the bikes out! We now have light (and hopefully warmth!) It's a beautiful time to ride for scenery, weather and less traffic! We will start to build some miles this month. If you are a new rider, this is a great time to join us to add some miles and pace throughout the summer. This is always a non drop ride, we have cue sheets via Ride with GPSpace listed yet because we are just getting back to it!
What to expect: Meet at The Outdoor Collective and be ready to roll out at time listed. Weather updates, who's planning on attending, etc will be on this page each week. Routes will be posted on the Ride My GPS app under WNC Outdoor Collective.
What to bring: Helmets (of course!), lights, water, snack. Please have tools, pump/CO2 and a tube (just in case). You also assume personal responsibility for riding (so, ride at your own risk...and all the legal things). We are just a group of ladies who love to get together.

Ladies Strength & Performance Class (Black Mountain)
We're back in the gym this month with our strength training classes Tuesday/Thursday mornings at 7 am. Whether you're training for something specific or just want to overall get stronger or more fit, these workouts are for you! These classes will work off a "punch card" system for added flexibility. Message us for more details or follow the link below to sign up individual classes!
Women's MTB Clinic: Proper Fit & Basic Maintenance- May 23rd (WNC Outdoor Collective)
Women! Keep yourself and your bike running smooth! Bring your mountain bike, enjoy a beer or beverage at The Collective and come learn some awesome skills. This is a free clinic with 12 spots available. Please register to reserve your spot.
Women's Beginner MTB Ride - May 27th (Old Fort)
If you are new to the mountain bike OR have been off the trail for a number of years, we would love to ride with you! We will review basic MTB skills, ride some miles, and not drop you as we ride for 1-1.5 hours. Led by local women MTB riders.

We would love to see you at our tent at the RAD Half Marathon on June 11th! We will be offering pre-race taping and post race mobility and soft tissue work.
